Planning a family budget? The easy bit is plugging in the expenses you can think of right now. Fuel, power, internet, food, transport, rent. All that stuff. If you need reminding about that, you’re a dill. Family budgets are full of hidden expenses though – anniversary presents, urgent trips to the dentist, school excursions, ride-on mowers and visits to the vet for the chicken (we’re a strange family).
We’ve researched average living expenses in Australia, the US and the UK (Greece was a little too hard to predict at the moment) and combined them with elements from the Granfield’s list of expenses to come up with with this editable family budget template to help you figure out how much you’ll have left over at the end of the month. Assuming you have something left over at the end of the month. Or at least don’t have less money at the end of the month than you started with (Greece’s problem). The figures are a guide obviously – insert your own for an accurate picture.
